Mission
Mission statement:
Our mission is modeled after Matthew 28:19 and Ephesians 4:12 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” and “equip the saints for the work of the ministry.”
Community opportunities:
GWCBC – The Way ministry is seeking your assistance to build facilities and services to support the next generation of youth, families and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and the aging population. In order to fulfill our mission and meet the growing needs of our community, we need more space, resources and your help!
Financial projections:
Your sponsors contributions will help support multiple groups and families in need, respite (wellness breaks) for families, increase programs and operations, provide transportation and emergency assistance, referral and supports, build childcare centers, and meeting space for community events.
“Moving Forward to the Next Dimension”
The Focus: Our Future Expectations
Our Vision – Must be Heavenly minded.
We are to have a clear mental image of a preferable future that is imparted by God to His chosen servants, and is based upon accurate understanding of God, us, and the circumstances that we face, as we move forward toward the next level activities. We will need our spiritual gifts and priorities in line with God’s will. This will help us to stay focused on the vision and our goals.
Our Vision – Is filled with purpose, and will therefore add meaning to our future church life.
Our Vision – Is so great and so big that it is seemingly impossible, that it calls for supernatural help.
Romans 8:31 – What shall we say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Ephesians 3:20-21 – Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. What price are we willing to pay in our sacrifice of love, labor, giving, and glorify Him?
Jesus said in Luke 9:23 – He said unto them all, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. The second thing what are we willing to give up?
Paul said in Philippians 3:8 – That he counted all things but loss for the Excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ.
